Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel is located in a perfect spot, ideal for exploring the vibrant restaurant scene around. While the rooms are small, they are clean and modern with an amazing shower. The service was great, except for the reservation miscommunication. The dining experience was fantastic, especially the tasty European dishes. Overall, a nice place to stay in an excellent location.
During my stay at this hotel, I found the location to be perfect, right in the middle of the Gaslamp District and very close to the pier and sea village. The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds, but unfortunately, the reservation I had made seemed to have been given to someone else.
The hotel is situated in the heart of San Diego, close to many bars and restaurants, making it a prime location for tourists. The rooms, although modern, are somewhat small in design and feel cramped. The service encountered during my stay was a mix of efficiency from housekeeping but marred by a troublesome incident of overcharging on my debit card, resulting in an unexpected $700 expense. Despite being on the 11th floor, noise was still an issue traveling up to the room. Dining options ranged from horrible to delicious, with an included rooftop experience that left a mixed impression. Overall, the hotel provides a convenient base for exploring the vibrant Gaslamp district and nearby attractions, although there were some significant drawbacks that affected the overall experience.
